Hello and welcome to my portfolio! I am honored to be able to share my artwork and hopefully inspire future artists with my pieces. I enjoy being creative and going through the creative process of making a new piece of artwork.
I began my art journey as most do with stick figures drawings and coloring books. I always thought that being able to draw or paint images from imagination was the coolest thing, and hadn’t realized that the artists on YouTube had spent years practicing their craft and developing their own style. Once I started, however, I was unable to quit and over time I began to see results.
Although I started with YouTube artists like Mark Crilley and Jazza, one of my biggest influences is Frida Kahlo. Her portraiture and imagery are aspects in my work that I find inspiration from and try to generate in my work as well. I also take inspiration from books I’ve read and my favorite television shows. One of my favorite books is a nonfiction book called The Devil in the White City.
My main goal is to be able to present my artwork for future endeavors and to connect to other artists, present and future. I will continue to improve and develop in my art and I hope to be able to continue sharing my journey.
